On the weekend of March 16th, 2024, a friend and I ventured to the BNSF Transcon in NW Illinois, to check out the busy rail activity that line boasts. We were not disappointed, witnessing over 30 trains in roughly 10 hours between Stronghurst, IL, and Ft. Madison, IA. Stack trains galore, some freights and unit trains as well, and Amtrak made up the action as we hopped from location to location to docunent the action. Only around 20 or so of the trains were filmed and included in the video, but the action is plentiful.
Come along with WR Productions as the trains and cameras kept on rolling. *Side note: Please forgive the shakiness in some of the clips. It was extremely windy for most of the day, so I did what I could to work with it.
