Sky News host Liz Storer discusses Boeing pleading guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States over two 737 MAX crashes which killed 346 people.

Boeing is set to be slapped with a $US234 million fine.

"It's a very cold comfort for the families of those 346 people who died in those crashes," Ms Storer said.

"This is very complicated for Boeing now because to plead guilty to a conspiracy to defraud the US would normally bar them from having defence contracts."
