Boise City, Oklahoma, is a very unique subject for this week's small town, USA, video. It is the county seat of Cimarron County in the extreme western part of the Oklahoma panhandle. It's also home to over half of the county's entire population. This area was known as No Man's Land in the mid to late 1800's and attracted a rowdy group of settlers. It also suffered tremendously from the Dust Bowl in the 1930's. Through it all it has survived and has some very interesting places to visit! I had a lot of fun exploring Boise City!
