The Royal was there for Thanh when at 28 weeks pregnant, doctors discovered she had a very rare tumor in her placenta. The Royal gave her hope that her baby, Luna, would survive.

Thanh was cared for by the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit and Luna has been receiving aroundtheclock care in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.

Thanh and Luna are one of the thousands of families cared for by The Royal Hospital for Women each year.
