This is one of the first designs that i've seen for a DIY bow press that works as well as the expensive ones. It's made from heavy duty materials, not wires and limb clamps. What was even better, i already had all the materials to build it, so it was free to me.
This is much better and more solid then using ratchetstraps (which is not safe) and the screw and wire bow press (which doesn't allow for easy access).
So give this homemade bow press a try if you are like me and only need to do some minor adjustments to your bow string, Dloop, peep sight, add a twist.... a couple times per year.
