Here is Part 2 of a multipart video series on Brazilian Rhythms for the Drum Set.
The subject of this video is playing the Samba rhythm on the drum set. I discuss developing the correct foot technique as well as how to play with the correct feel.
I also demonstrate many Samba rhythms from my book and talk about playing Samba with brushes. Finally I talk about using the pushpull hand technique to mimic the sound of the Pandiero , a Brazilian frame drum.
