This video is about some of the challenges I and other women face on this platform; the ways I see the patri@rchy planted within the people and community of Breadtube; and how we can begin to recognise and eradicate the seeds of oppression within ourselves and our movements. Whilst a lot of what I say can be universalised to leftist movements in general, I’m focusing specifically on the farleft side of Breadtube because I think this is one of the most important platforms for the sharing of radical, subversive thought that would otherwise in mainstream media be censored and shutdown. What we do here is incredibly important and failing to address the patri@rchy on the left could have fatal consequences for our movements.

Hi I’m Kathrin (she/her), I’m 27, an Anthropologist and Political Scientist. With my videos, I hope to inspire us to do both the internal and external work.
