Immunotherapy for breast cancer is developing rapidly following the first FDAapproved checkpoint inhibitor for triplenegative breast cancer in March 2019. New treatment regimens combining immunotherapy with chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery are showing promise in clinical trials.
