In October 2023 we decided to sail back against the wind to the archipelago of the Marquesas islands. We have been 7 years now in French Polynesia and this year an el nino is announced. We don’t want to throw the dices.
There is also the big cultural festival in Nuku Hiva, which only takes place every 4 years. We didn't want to miss out on this major event either. There is an extra video about it. But in this video, I documented our 8month journey through the atolls and the Marquesas. Have fun watching it.

we are travielling with our boat ALILA around the world. She is an Irwin 54, in best conditions. We even have a full size table on the aft deck. At the moment we are in French Polynesia. On this channel we just want to show our own privat videos where you can look into our daily life.
