At Bristronica 2024, we caught up with Xavi from Body Synths, who originally showed us the us to the Metal Fetishist at Superbooth where we were impressed,

 Xavi explained that the Metal Fetishist was designed with an ethos towards noisier soundscapes while still allowing for more melodic sound. The synth incorporates builtin distortion, a postfilter, and a random sequencer akin to a Turing machine, enabling you to generate and manipulate sequences of up to 32 steps.

The singlevoice, monophonic synthesizer features one oscillator, a noise generator, and highpass and lowpass filters with resonance. You can delve into step modulation and triggering, achieving sounds ranging from metallic to rhythmically complex textures. The Metal Fetishist is available through various retailers listed on the Body Synths website.
