To ensure the most fairness in my system, I averaged the price of a oneway flight and half of a roundtrip flight and used this generated price for my calculations. Using either the oneway price or half of the roundtrip price (just the outbound leg) would have resulted in either an exorbitantly low or high score which ultimately feel unrepresentative of my whole experience.
