British Airways Boeing 757200 GCPER, delivered in 1997 The 757 is an authentic rocket. it literally pushed us all back against the seatbacks with a great engine spool up sound and then soared at a very steep angle until we supposedly reached 5000 ft.
A Qantas and a Singapore Airlines A380s can be seen and also an engine vortex before entering the runway.
The last BA 757s were withdrawn from the fleet (actually sold to Fed Ex) towards the end of October 2010, roughly 6 months after this video was shot, and replaced by A320s and A321s.
This was a scheduled flight between London Heathrow (LHR) and BarcelonaEl Prat (BCN). Due to the industrial action that was taking place those days, more capacity was needed to allocate passengers from cancelled flights. Therefore, the original plane for this flight, an A319 was switched for this B757.
Unfortunately I didn't have an HD camera at that time.
