Locomotive original built for SP, road #8477, changed to 7330, sold to Boise locomotive Sept 10, 1999, rebuilt to sd 402, renumbered to gcfx 3098, leased to CSX. After a number of years it became citx 3098 an leased to Canadian Pacific. Cumberland mine purchased it in summer 2013 from Motive Power, it came to us as MVPX 3098.

We had a contractor come in and replace the front end of the locomotive. Those guys were
exceptionally good fitters and welders, they did a remarkable job in making the repairs.
#3098 is feeling much better now and back in revenue service. So you can all hold off
on sending in your get well soon cards...LOL
