Hello friends. In this video we will be making an interesting organic dye called Brooker's merocyanin which has a very special property of solvatochromism. That means it produces various Colors in various solvents.
The prep is a little bit advabced, but it could be done by anyone with less sophisticated equipment ( ofcourse you need the chemicals )

Chemicals Required for this synthesis are
Methyl Iodide
4methyl pyridine
Isopropyl alcohol
Ethanol
KOH
Piperidine
