The combined quantum for the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR) and the Rahmah Necessities Aid (Sara) will increase to RM4,700 next year.

On top of this, social aid provided through the Social Welfare Department will also be increased.

Single individuals, meanwhile, will receive RM600 in STR while aid for senior citizens will be increased to RM600 from RM500.
