We increased our curb appeal by replacing our moldly front door with a new fiberglass door that we painted to look like wood! This is the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned since we now have a front door that looks like wood, without the price tag. I would rate this as an easy project, especially if you're not replacing the door, but just painting it.
