After celebrating Jaanipaev, we took a budget luxury bus from Tallinn, Estonia to Riga, Latvia. However, the night we returned from watching the fire in the middle of the city, someone in our apartment complex decided to continue their celebration in their kitchen. We hear sirens and eventually saw firefighters roll out the hoses and walk into our building. As our hallway filled with smoke, the only hallway we could take to leave, we packed all our bags and waited to see what would happen next.
