This series has been about revealing the REAL you throughout every step of your business building process. And so I think it is important at this point to ask, as women entrepreneurs, how can you grow your businesses in a way that embodies and represents YOU? How can you build an authentic business with a solid plan that helps you reach your revenue goals as a business woman?

When I was a little girl, I loved wearing my mom’s highheels, pretending to be just like my mom, something I hoped to be in the future. When I did that, I often stumbled because as a kid, of course I didn’t have the balance to walk in them.

That’s kind of what your business plan is like.

You envision who you want to become and what you want your business to be like. And even though you’re not there yet, you'll want to “try it on” and see if it fits.

When you visualize your business and revenue goals, I want you to keep 3 things in mind.

1. It’s okay to try on lots of things until you find the right fit.
2. Be cautious about having a plan that isn’t yours.
3. Have a solid plan that fits who you are NOW and who you want to become in the FUTURE.

You can’t go forward without a solid plan, but your authentic business plan has got to fit who you are now and who you envision yourself to be as a business woman.
