Hi! I know everyone's talking about for rent as of now and meanwhile I'm over here talking about snowmen BUT I swear I thought the pack was coming until the 12th for some reason and now I'm here about to rush it.

I actually had started recording a comparison about apartments ALL the way back in 2019. But, as I often do, I dropped the project halfway because too many things didn't click. So I guess it's better this way because I won't have to repeat myself. I know you can't tell but I hate repeating videos, and I dread when Sims 4 is done and I have to look for a way to not just go over the same things

Anyways, SNOWMEN! I'm actually working on a video about snow activities because my winter video barely scratched the surface (I mean, I couldn't include sims 1) and snowmen were taking so much space and Sims 1's details were so cute that I thought it'd be best for them to get their own video. It's such a small game detail but one that I've always appreciated.

So which one's the best?

My opinion?

Sims 1 is quite lovely just because of that little detail of helping the child finish the snowman, it's just too cute! I also like how it depends on skill and how so many sims can help out. Cool details all around

Sims 2, this is one of those rare times where it didn't really improve. Sure, the animation is better, kids can build them and the snowmen are okay but yeah. My least favorite in this super specific category

Sims 3 was pretty good, I don't like when it just copies Sims 2's animations but why fix it if it ain't broken? I liked the many types of snowmen and how different sims can get them. I had my backyard filled with snowmen until I gave up and just created an alien to create the alien snowman.

Sims 4 is a little behind in animation but I'll forgive them because the snowpal mechanic is cool. It's not too deep but I liked it, it gives something unique to kids and toddlers and I always welcome that in Sims 4 cause it feels like it focuses too much on young adults sometimes...most times.

But that's just my opinion, let me know yours and I'll see you on the next one. I'm gonna work on apartments for sure but later there will be a snow activities video to cover all of the other snowy stuff. Hopefully I can do it before the year ends!
