The plans are FINALLY available and I've FINALLY found the time to shoot a build video. In this video I'll walk you through the process to build the DTFB PT17 Stearman designed by Ben Harber (‪@TheHarberHangar‬). Ben drafted these plans several years ago and they were used to build my beloved (and now destroyed) Stearman. Recently Dan Sponholz took these plans and worked his magic and now they are ready to be released to the world!

The build is VERY straightforward, especially if you have previously built Flite Test models. The nomenclature and layout of the plans is the same, so if you can read a set of Flite Test plans you'll have no problem with this model.

In the coming weeks I'll be releasing some additional content around this model. I'm working through various printable upgrades that will let you further customize your Stearman from mild to wild to "The Full Lucille"! I'll have at least one standard and one MONSTER Stearman with me at Flite Fest this year and I hope to share the skies with loads of other Stearman pilots, so get started building your own and don't hesitate to ask if you need a hand.
