TAMIYA 1/24 VW Beetle Disney Herbie
*About the kit
I made it before, so this is the second one.
I tried to make it better than last time.
The famous Beetle movie is Disney's Herbie, and I think Beetle fans enjoyed watching it.
The Beetle with the number 53 and red, white, and blue lines is the most famous Beetle in the world, and many Beetle fans enjoy custompainting Herbie.
The Beetle in the movie is a 63year model, but Tamiya is a 66year model. Although the model year is different, I made it by referring to Herbie's painting and attaching a roof rack for leisure use.

*roof rack
I made a roof rack with 0.8mm, 0.5mm nickel silver wire and 0.3mm brass wire.
The legs of the roof rack are covered with vinyl, and the fixing bracket is in the middle.
The luggage is two trunks, a vintage cooler box, and a guitar case, all made of 0.5mm and 0.3mm plastic board.
I put a tissue on the trunk to give it a texture.
Each detail is finely crafted.
With elaborate accessories, you can cover up the appearance even if the car is not very complete.

*assembly
As the person who made this kit knows, the combination of the hood is bad.
I put a plastic plate on and adjusted the gap.
However, after assembling, I realized that this gap is important for opening and closing the hood.

Next time I would like to make a Vintage motorcycle with a garage.
