Building a drystone house in the wilderness with a wooden roof and walls, using hand tools and both ancient and modern techniques. This build took me 28 days to finish and it's now my family's little vacation house in the woods of Värmland, Sweden.

Dry stone is a building method by which structures are constructed from stones without any mortar to bind them together. Dry stone structures are stable because of their construction method, which is characterized by the presence of a loadbearing façade of carefully selected interlocking stones.

While the dry stone technique is most commonly used for the construction of doublewall stone walls and singlewall retaining terracing, dry stone sculptures, buildings, fortifications, bridges, and other structures also exist.
