We finish the first wing rib on our Hatz Classic build! This is the very first completed part for our project plane; one of 32 "ribs" that make up the substructure of the four biplane wings. The ribs and spars are all made of aircraftgrade sitka spruce wood, held together by plywood gussets and structural epoxy. This method of construction is lightweight and strong!
