Hey Aquamigos! We are continuing with the filtration setup for the DIY Koi Pond! The step we are working on in this video is the foundation for the DIY mechanical filter. I will be using a plastic weatherproof Kobalt tote that I bought from Lowe's to house the pond pump, as well as some mechanical filtration. To help account for any shifting that may occur underneath the filter (which may cause the filter to shift) I am pouring a concrete foundation, which I am also anchoring to the pond's retaining wall, as well as the concrete which is supporting the settlement tank. It's quite a bit of extra work to take these steps, but I think it will really help in the long run.
