Building Lindas Lane with the JD X738 and Little Buck Loader

The John Deere X738 and Little Buck Loader build a roadway down the hill around the house for the tractor and golf cart. The tractor moved 8 yards of 11/2" gravel and 4 yards of pine/spruce mulch one afternoon to make the roadway. While the hill is pine needle covered, it is actually good solid fill from building the house, not sod, so I didn't bother removing the pine needles. The hill was tilted away from the house as well as downhill, so I first leveled out the area where the side tilt was the worst. I then worked my way down around the corner as the tilt was corrected. A lot of fill was needed at the bottom corner. Then I finally finished off the upper portion which only needed a little bit of fill. The opening between the shed and the house foundation looks tight, but there is five feet clear, so plenty of room for the four foot wide tractor and our four foot wide golf cart. The rocks next to the foundation in the video were all dug out of the roadway area next to the shed before work began. Thanks for watching!
