We are super excited about building our bimini! We got the frame off an old fishing boat we plan to mount our solar panels on it and wanted it strong enough to walk on.

The material we built our bimini with is called Expanded PVC Foam Board. We found it at a plastic supply shop. In our area it's used to make hard tops for small sport fishing boats and fish cleaning platforms.
