It’s time to fair the hull of our VBottom skiff, but before we can do that we need to sand and prep the surface. We created a new vacuum system for our sander to help with any fiberglass dust. It has two vacuums, one of which is suspended above the boat to allow for easier movement of the sander and hoses. The final step is to mix and apply Totalfair, we’re out to fill all the low spots so when we apply our barrier coat we will have a nice fair surface on the hull and first side plank.
