This is Part 13 in the how to build series for constructing the Affordaplane ultralight aircraft. This is a plans built Part 103 aircraft that is easy to build. Our goal is to make experimental aviation affordable and bring more people into flying and building their own aircraft.

In this part, we construct the first section of the tailfeathers the rudder FIN. This requires the 1" tubing to be matched to a fullsize drawing template and includes a bending operation on the tubing. Hinges are also added for later attachment to the rudder itself.
