This is Part 36 in the how to build series for constructing the Affordaplane ultralight aircraft. This is a plans built Part 103 ultralight aircraft that is easy to build. Our goal is to make experimental aviation affordable and bring more people into flying and building their own aircraft.

In this part, we weigh the major components of the aircraft: the Wings and Fuselage. These weights are used to accurately estimate the final weight so that an appropriate engine can be chosen. An engine and propeller are selected based on the remaining weight allowance per Part 103 FAA regulations.
