The BUKM1 is a selfpropelled, mediumrange surfacetoair missile system developed by the Soviet Union and Russian Federation.
In 1996, Russia settled old Sovietera debpts with Finland by selling three BUKM1 antiaircraft missile units.
BUKM1 was in active service in Finland for just under 20 years, but ended up at the center of international accident investigation.
