The Buzludzha Monument is a large, abandoned building located at the peak of the Buzludzha mountain in Bulgaria. It was built by the Bulgarian Communist regime to commemorate the founding of the Bulgarian socialist movement in 1891. Shaped like a flying saucer, the monument has fallen into disrepair since the fall of communism in Bulgaria. Despite its dilapidated state, the Buzludzha Monument remains a popular site for urban explorers and tourists interested in the remnants of Bulgaria's communist past.
