We start off by seeing 34046 heading down light loco from Southall to Hanwell Bridge Loop, where it would take over from D213 “Andania” for the rest of the tour to Canterbury. Shortly after, we then see D213 “Andania” heading through Southall with the stock for the tour to Hanwell Bridge Loop! We then make our way to Hanwell to see 34046 accelerating away before catching up with the locomotive at Clapham Junction, where it would stop for 20 minutes! Unfortunately, a late running service meant I was no longer able to see it at Shepherd’s Bush which I’d previously planned. We then make our way to Chartham where 34046 is seen giving out plenty of steam before then heading to Canterbury for the final sighting on the outward leg! On the return, we see 34046 moving off after being given a green signal at Tonbridge. I had planned to see 34046 at Sandling prior to Tonbridge however both the tour running late and a late running service meant this wasn’t possible! Enjoy!
