Les Routes de limpossible

In some countries around the world, truck drivers are risking their lives to spread the faith by distributing religious items to remote temples or transporting people to remote pilgrimage sites. In Burma, 89% of the population is Buddhist and the country is known for its production of valuable Buddha statues.
At the wheel of his truck, Yan Win Hong transports these fragile objects of worship in order to transport them to Buddhist temples through the chaotic traffic of Mandalay and the dizzying roads of Meiktila and Rangoon.
A risky journey which must leave the statues intact despite pitfalls and unforeseen events. In Haiti, the majority of the population practices the Voodoo religion. Sanel Jeudi, who usually transports coal, foodstuffs and clothing, must this time round up 25 pilgrims in order to lead them to the religious festival of NotreDameduMontCarmel, in the village of Sautd 'Water.
A road adventure where you have to be extra careful not to risk injuring passengers, through Jacmel, PortauPrince and the villages preceding Sautd’Eau.
