Burnelli vs Boeing - One Goes Thermal Bumping

Follow
maxfliart

Film shows the 4th trim session of the 37" freeflight rubberpowered Burnelli Transport concept aircraft from 1947, along with a flight by the 44" Boeing 306C. The focus was on both models flying for the first time with recent updates. The Burnelli was having its right circling flight path flipped to going left at launch...which hopefully will be more controlled during the middle of the flight, and thru the transition to the glide. The Boeing is looking to be more spirally stable, and keep the wings level after the power run. Flown in Wawayanda, NY, filmed by Tom Hallman on 6.28.24 with a Canon PowerShot SX20, and iPhones 11 & 14Pro. Music via the talented musicians at ArtList.io, who breathe life into my films.
