I decided to make an "art bike" for Burning Man 2023. The theme for this year is "Animalia" and I wanted to create an abstract "scale" bike. I used my CNC machine to cut out all the shapes, but it still took a lot of traditional woodworking prep to get the wood ready. Follow along as I make this project and check out the results at the end!

I usually ride a unicycle around at BM, but this year I'll be bringing my 4 year old and need something to tow him around with. Keep an eye out for me if you are there and say "hi".

Scale shape was designed with Vectric VCarve.
Wood was cut with my Avid CNC Pro 4x8, using a 3/8" spiral upcut bit.
