Le C1 est un char contesté, décrit comme le pire d'Europe et le moins médiatisé?

Le C1 Ariete (bélier en français) est un char de combat italien développé et produit par le consortium italien IvecoFiat et OTO Melara SpA, la division armement du holding d'État Finmeccanica (maintenant Leonardo S.p.A.).
Il est développé pour remplacer les chars M60 d’origine américaine au sein des forces armées italiennes. Le premier prototype est réalisé en 1986. Deux cent chars ont été produits entre 1995 et 2005.
