Aarau, cheflieu du canton d’Argovie dans le Mittelland, est situé sur l’Aar qui a donné son nom aussi bien à la ville qu’au canton.
Tout à fait charmante, la vieille ville peut se flatter d’avoir les plus beaux avanttoits peints de Suisse, appelés « Dachhimmel ».

ArthGoldau, dans le canton de Schwyz, situé entre les lacs de Zoug et de Lauerz, est le point de départ de la montée au Rigi ou d’une croisière sur le lac de Zoug.
Le célèbre parc animalier est situé sur le cône de l’immense éboulement de Goldau.
Et n’oublions pas qu’ArthGoldau est un nœud de communication important sur la ligne ferroviaire du Gothard.

Nicht zuletzt ist ArthGoldau wichtiger Bahnknotenpunkt an der Gotthardlinie.
