We've been to Basel quite a few times, but always with freight trains. Time to change that! Hop aboard the Interregio from Zurich to Basel with stops at major stations. The first part of the trip is on a major route with mostly four tracks up until Aarau. After Aarau, you will spot a huge construction site for the tunnel Eppenberg which will soon continue those four tracks up to Olten, to further increase capacity on our heavily used nework.
