The Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for the direct recruitment of 125 Deputy Field Officers (Technical) through GATE. The notification was published in the Employment News (0713) October 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution.
GATE Score: A valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score from amongst GATE 2021 or 2022 or 2023.
Age Limit:

Upper Age Limit: 30 years as on 01.01.2023.
Relaxation in Age Limit:
5 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) candidates.
10 years for SC/ST candidates.
3 years for PwBD candidates.
Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be done through a valid GATE score from amongst GATE 2021, 2022 or 2023. The candidates will be ranked based on their GATE scores and the top 125 candidates will be selected for appointment.

How to Apply:

Interested candidates can apply offline by sending their application form to Post Bag No. 001, Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi 110003, in a sealed envelope. The application form must be superscribed with the name of the post applied for.
