Watch as I show you how to paint your kitchen cabinets with Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan and a different topcoat instead of wax. The topcoat used is High Performance Top Coat in Flat and The Van Dyke Brown glaze effects, both from General Finishes. By using this method you get a different look and feel from wax that some people desire. It was the winner of Fine Woodworking's "Best Overall Choice Award." High Performance Topcoat was voted as the hardest, most durable consumer polyurethane topcoat. Both Annie Sloan wax and General Finishes products make excellent topcoats, the choice is yours.
