The Optiq measures 4,822 mm in length, 1,912 mm in width, and 1,642 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,954 mm, making it comparable in size to the Cadillac XT5. It offers seating for up to five people. The boot space is 441 liters with the rear seats up and expands to 1,362 liters when the seats are folded down.

Under the hood, the Optiq features a powertrain with two electric motors providing allwheel drive. These motors deliver a combined output of 283 horsepower and 343 lbft of torque. The Long Range model is equipped with a 79.7 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 373 miles. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 6 seconds.

The 2024 Cadillac Optiq has a suite of standard features in China, including autonomous emergency braking, a onepedal drive mode, twin rear spoilers, torque vectoring, variable rate dampers, and support for a smartphone virtual key. These features enhance the vehicle's safety and convenience, making it a wellrounded option for consumers entering the electric vehicle market.
