Join Esa Norokorpi and Markku Rytinki as they take on the most grueling snowmobile race to commemorate late friend Sami Païvike: Cain’s Quest 2023.
Treacherous terrain. Unforgiving weather conditions. Nobody around for miles. That’s what Cain’s Quest, the longest snowmobile race in Eastern Canada, is all about. Team Wild Nordic Finland always shared a common dream of succeeding in the most difficult challenges together. But unfortunately, team member Sami Païvike passed away before being able to participate in this extreme snowmobile endurance race. So Esa Norokorpi and Markku Rytinki set out to tackle this frigid challenge in his memory. The 3,100kilometer Labrador snowmobile race runs across remote, challenging terrain and isn’t for the weak of heart. The two Lynx riders needed to make it through freezing rain, total whiteouts with zero visibility, freezing rain and hazardous ice. Though the race didn't go as planned due to an unexpected incident, Esa and his friend kept going to surmount the impossible and honor their dear friend. Do you have what it takes to keep up?
