The Landsat of Band 3 and Band 4 have been used to calculate the Normalize Differncence Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the City of Toronto. By using the formula of Band 4 – Band 3 divided by Band 4 + Band 3 to calculate the result of NDVI.
Comment:
The NDVI map shows the index value 5 as a high vegetation in the area and index 1 as the low vegetation in the area. The City Wards boundary on the map was to high and low vegetation per City Wards.
