A Halloween MAP ~! This one featuring my ocs, Thorn and Hawk, aswell as a few dark forest cats !! I worked on this part while on vacation out of state and feeling pretty sick (still am, at the time of posting this). There are parts I rushed and gave up on in an attempt to meet some deadlines, but there are also parts I pushed myself on and am very proud of. I was hoping to have this video finished on the weekend, but things got busy! So a Wednesday upload it is.

As annoying as lining up and coloring all the frames properly was, the part with Thorn zooming out, touching her face as the black liquid runs down was a lot of fun. Seeing the outcome of it being complete makes me happy. I also liked the little tap tap Hawk got at the beginning. It was something very simple and easy to animate, but very nice to watch.

The ending scene I kept redoing, and I'm still not entirely pleased with it, but I think this is the best outcome I could've gotten right now. Considering I tried a lot of new fun methods (the black liquid, the "shaky" lines, etc), I feel like having something I consider a bit more lazy and rushed is fine. The bone hill does kinda stand out in my opinion, though. Unfortunate !!

(Script): Hawk wakes up having a nightmare in the Dark Forest. He witnesses Thorn, a kit who he stole from a mother for his selfish reasons, suffering in pain that he blames himself for. As the two of the panic, the same dog that attacked her comes rushing towards him . . .
