I visit AnzaBorrego Desert State Park for the super bloom. I get a super, free campsite in a field of flowers and I enjoy each morning with the thousands of butterflies that are migrating through.
I headed over to the AnzaBorrego Badlands and Font's Point to watch the sunrise over the Salton Sea. After a morning cup of coffee, I head out on a sandy desert road to find a beautiful field of flowers I could see from my campsite. It was probably about 5 or so miles away and when I got there, there were only a few other people there. I just wandered through the flowers for over an hour. Then I headed back to make dinner. I love Indian food so I made a little veggie Tikka Masala.
The butterflies and flowers are so amazing, I didn't want to leave. But it was starting to get hot. But before I left, I went and hiked Palm Canyon. That's coming up in my next video! ;)
