About the Presenter: Stephen J. Freedland, MD, is Director of the Center for Integrated Research in Cancer and Lifestyle and Associate Director for Education and Training at the CedarsSinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. He is also a professor in the Department of Urology at CedarsSinai in Los Angeles, CA, and holds a staff physician appointment at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, NC. He has published over 700 articles and served on numerous American Urological Association and American Society of Clinical Oncology guideline panels for prostate cancer. Dr. Freedland earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed a residency in Urology at UCLA and a fellowship in urological oncology at Johns Hopkins.

His research interests include the role of diet, lifestyle and obesity in prostate cancer, prostate cancer health disparities, and prostate cancer risk stratification.
