Today we're taking a look at and using the Sailor Compass 1911 to do a drawing. I was really impressed with this pen. I was expecting it to be "just another fountain pen" but I guess that's the whole problem. So many fountain pens these days look exciting, fancy, and are generally over the top, but they don't actually perform that well which is what really matters. Even though this pen is bright yellow, it still manages to be understated, and performed flawlessly for me as I drew with it.
