When Madelyn arrived into the world she was already facing great odds. She was born with a tumor on her spine and would need multiple surgeries and chemotherapy to fight sacrococcygeal teratoma, a type of cancer.

This little girl bravely faced her diagnosis, losing her hair but never losing her joyful spirit. Now 7 years old and in 2nd grade, she is cancer free and her unmistakable smile continues to light up the room
