My favorite homemade baked beans recipe is simple to make and can for a quick any day side dish. This easy recolor Bushes Copycat Country Style beans is great. The family loved them the first time out which surprised me as they were used to the Original recipe beans.

The recipe shown is a bit strong on the molasses and I prefer thinner sauce. Just change it up a little next time replacing some of the molasses for water. If its too sweet you can add more vinegar to adjust the flavor before filling your jars. I find myself adding a bit of water to the pot when I reheat these beans. No flavor is lost as I'm rinsing my jar with an inch or two of water and using it in the beans.
