At a moving multireligious gathering at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Pope Francis, together with Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Greek Orthodox, and other religious leaders remembered those who perished on 9/11 and prayed for peace.

Cantor Schwartz, sang the memorial prayer Eil Maleh Rahamim with the text adapted to the 9/11 victims. He closed with Oseh Shalom: May the One who makes peace on high bring peace to us and to all Israel and to all who dwell on earth. Amen.
